Innovation

Thinking Differently

The challenges faced by displaced and vulnerable communities are complex and require creative, adaptive solutions. Our innovative approach means we're constantly learning, experimenting, and finding new ways to create impact.

We embrace technology, social innovation, and cross-sector collaboration to develop solutions that are more effective, efficient, and responsive to community needs.

"The problems we face today cannot be solved with the same thinking that created them. Innovation is not optional—it's essential."

Case Study: Digital Cash Transfers

Mobile money

Traditional in-kind food distribution was costly, logistically challenging, and didn't give recipients choice. In 2022, we piloted a mobile cash transfer program, sending money directly to refugees' phones.

The results were transformative: costs dropped by 40%, recipients could buy what they actually needed, and local markets were stimulated. The program has now been scaled to reach 2,000 families.

"With cash, I can buy fresh vegetables for my children instead of just rice and beans. I can also save a little for emergencies. It gives me dignity."
